Tough, exhausting, draining, frustrating, fearful, nerve-wrecking, stressful and full of angst.... just some words to describe my day today (Feb 24). Started the day with a heavy heart and as the day progresses....the feeling of excitement and adrenalin rush just came pouring in. A great chatterbox talking non-stop having meetings after meetings in the morning, running off to be a chauffeur at dawn, rushing home to sneak in a jog, gobbling down those leafy greens before zooming back in time to do 2nd shift with more conference meetings.
And to top it all, I have to manage the work expectations of one who sounds her own horn! This is the toughest of all - giving unpleasant performance messages (although to me it is NOT at all unpleasant...mere expectations).
Ah well, I am finally done and can now call it a day....a morning after to be exact! EXHAUSTED!
